Is Lingki AI free to use?
Yes. Opening the app, browsing the character library and chatting are free, and there is no signup wall. Some community character cards are priced by their author in L Coin, and those are marked on the card.
Do I need an account to start chatting?
No. You can open the app and start a conversation straight away. An account only matters if you want your purchases and published cards tied to you across devices.
Where are my chats stored?
Chat history lives in your own browser storage on the device you used, not in a shared cloud profile. Clearing site data or switching devices starts you fresh unless you export a backup first.
Can I use my own model API key?
Yes. You bring your own API key and pick which model answers, so you are not locked into one provider or one pricing model.
Do Lingki character cards work in SillyTavern?
Yes. Cards follow the standard V2/V3 character card format, so a card downloaded here loads in SillyTavern and other clients that read the same format, and cards from elsewhere import here.
